New Agent IT Setup
In
order to use the LDH computer systems, a few programs need to be up
to date on your computer.
Windows XP/Vista Users:
Service Pack 3 for Windows XP or Service Pack 1 for Vista
Make sure you have Windows XP Service Pack 3 Installed or Service
Pack 1 if using Vista. To do this, go to “Windows Update” located
at:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Remote
Desktop Client 6.1
Windows Remote Desktop Client is built in all versions of
Windows XP and Vista. You will need to update to version 6.1 or
greater. You can do this also at “Windows Update” located at:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
.Net
3.5
.Net is not built in Windows XP but is also available from
Windows Update. Many computers have version 2.0 and 3.0 already
installed from the previous use of Windows Update, however 3.5 is
required for our use. A direct link to download it is
here. If this link does not work, you can easily search in
Google for “.Net 3.5 download” and find the direct link.
Windows
95/98/ME/2000 are no longer supported. Please upgrade to Windows XP
or greater. |
